These Terms and Conditions govern your application, registration, and participation in the programmes offered by Green Leaf Academy. By submitting an application or enrolling in a programme, you agree to abide by the terms outlined below.
1. Application and Registration
1.1. This application form and any supporting documents become the property of Green Leaf Academy and will not be returned. Please ensure you provide all required documentation, including a copy of your ID or passport and proof of application fee payment.
1.2. Green Leaf Academy reserves the right to make changes to any programme, course content, or module without prior notice. Enrolment in specific programmes or modules is subject to demand and may be adjusted or cancelled if the minimum required number of students is not met.
1.3. The application fee of R300 (non-refundable) is required to secure a place in the programme, pending submission of complete documentation and meeting entry requirements.
1.4. By submitting this application, you consent to Green Leaf Academy processing your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), 2013, for purposes related to enrolment, communication, and service provision.
1.5. If your first-choice programme is unavailable or full, your second choice, if indicated, may be considered.
1.6. Enrolment with Green Leaf Academy involves a separate contract, which supersedes the application form and provides further details on the terms of study, fees, and obligations.
2. Fees and Payment
2.1. Payment of the R300 application fee is required upon submission of your application and is non-refundable unless Green Leaf Academy does not offer the course for which you have applied.
2.2. For international students, a minimum deposit of 30% of the course fee is required before enrolment can be confirmed. In addition, a valid study permit and proof of South African medical insurance (covering a minimum of 10 months) must be presented on or before the start date.
2.3. Green Leaf Academy reserves the right to adjust programme fees with a minimum of 20 business days' notice before such changes take effect.
3. Applicable Law
3.1. This agreement and its interpretation are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
4. Data Protection and Privacy
4.1. By completing and submitting this application form, you consent to Green Leaf Academy processing your personal information for purposes directly related to your enrolment, communication about your studies, and future services provided by Green Leaf Academy.
4.2. If you are a minor, your parent or guardian must consent to the processing of your personal information by signing this form.
4.3. Green Leaf Academy is committed to protecting your privacy. We adhere to POPIA guidelines and will handle your personal information responsibly and securely.
5. Withdrawal and Refunds
5.1. Students who wish to withdraw from a programme must notify Green Leaf Academy in writing. Refunds may be subject to a cancellation fee, depending on the date of withdrawal relative to the start of the course. Details are outlined in the enrolment contract.
6. Course Changes and Cancellations
6.1. Green Leaf Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any programme or module due to low enrolment numbers or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, students will be notified promptly, and alternative arrangements or refunds will be considered.
6.2. If changes to course content or module structure are required, Green Leaf Academy will make every effort to inform students in advance and to ensure that the programme continues to meet educational and industry standards.
7. Student Conduct and Academic Integrity
7.1. Students are expected to uphold high standards of conduct and integrity throughout their time at Green Leaf Academy. This includes adherence to all policies on academic honesty, respect for others, and compliance with Green Leaf Academy’s code of conduct.
7.2. Any violation of academic or conduct policies may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination from the programme, as specified in the Green Leaf Academy’s Student Code of Conduct.
8. Consent for Credit Checks (if applicable)
8.1. If you are responsible for covering your tuition or related fees, Green Leaf Academy may conduct a credit check to assess financial eligibility and ability to meet payment obligations.
8.2. By signing this application form, you consent to Green Leaf Academy performing any necessary credit checks or verifications with third-party agencies.
